EXCELLENCE SERIES Systems

The Kidde Commercial EXCELLENCE SERIES, combines the 2X-A and 2X-AT ranges of panels with a new range of addressable devices, providing solutions primarily for small- to medium-sized applications. The 2X-A Fire Panel is an addressable EN54 compliant panel which is expandable up to 4 loops and networkable with up to 64 panels. It is available in multiple languages and keypad variants (including fire routing and fire protection controls) to meet different country local requirements within Europe.

The 2X-AT is essentially the same panel as the 2X-A, but with a touchscreen, making navigation and operation far more intuitive, speeding up control by up to 3 times.

Both panels are intuitive and easy-to-use, with less time required to install, configure, commission, and maintain the system. This helps to reduce cost of ownership throughout the entire life of the system.

The panels, with their onboard connectivity (I/P, Serial, USB) options brings integration possibilities. The system will integrate with building management systems, central monitoring stations and remote control of the Panel. This helps with remote diagnostics, maintenance, and programming, as well as ensuring that settings are automatically changed (e.g., HVAC fans are switched off, escape routes are opened, PAVA messages are initiated) in the event of fire.

The panels are supplemented by a new range of intelligent devices (detectors, I/O devices, manual call points) that have been designed to make installation, commissioning, and maintenance easier.
